This Privacy Policy explains how the 3plan.app mobile application ("3plan.app", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use it. 3plan.app is designed as a local-first travel planner. We do not operate servers that store your trips, routes, notes, checklists or other travel content, and the App does not require a user account. AI requests pass through a secure 3plan.app gateway before being sent to Google Gemini or the Groq fallback.

Please read this Privacy Policy together with our Terms of Use.

1. Summary

• Your trips, routes, stops, notes, checklists, calendar entries, profile and settings are stored on your device.
• We do not require registration or user accounts.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not operate cloud storage or synchronization for user travel content.
• The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob.
• Optional features may send limited data to third-party services for weather, AI, place search, maps and bookings.
• We do not include third-party analytics SDKs in the App.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The following information may be created and stored locally using your device's database or local storage:

• Trips, trip titles, trip type, dates, origin, destination and route stops.
• Checklists and completion status.
• Travel journal entries and calendar events.
• Display name, with the default value "Traveler".
• An optional email address that you choose to enter.
• A randomly generated local identifier used by the App.
• Preferences such as selected language.

The randomly generated local identifier is used only to support the App's local functionality. It is not intended to identify you personally and is not transmitted to us.

3. No User Accounts or Developer Cloud Storage

3plan.app does not require registration, authentication or login. We do not maintain user profiles or travel records on our servers. As a result, we cannot access, recover, synchronize or restore your locally stored travel information.

4. Information Sent to Third-Party Services

Certain optional features communicate with third-party providers. AI requests first pass through our gateway. Only the information needed to provide the feature is sent.

We do not intentionally send your journal entries, checklists, optional email address or local profile to these providers unless the specific feature you use requires content that you deliberately submit.

5. AI Features

The "Camily" assistant and route-based place suggestions use Google Gemini as the primary provider and may use Groq as a fallback through a secure 3plan.app gateway. Relevant trip information and messages are processed transiently to generate a response. Limited security logs may be retained for abuse prevention, reliability and rate limiting, but are not intended to retain full chats.

Always verify visas, entry rules, opening hours, weather, road conditions, prices, availability and safety information using official or authoritative sources.

6. Affiliate Links and Commissions

3plan.app may participate in affiliate programs, including Travelpayouts and Amazon. When you open certain links and complete a purchase or booking, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate links may contain identifiers that allow the destination provider to attribute the referral. Destination websites may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.

7. Advertising

The App displays banner, interstitial and rewarded video advertisements through Google AdMob. Core features remain available without a Pro or ad-free subscription; rewarded advertisements are voluntary.

Google may process information such as:

• A resettable advertising identifier.
• Ad interactions and advertising performance data.
• Approximate location inferred from IP address.
• Device, app and basic usage information.

This processing is governed by Google's policies: Google Ads policies and AdMob privacy information.

Where required in the EEA or United Kingdom, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent before personalized advertising. You may review or withdraw your choice through My Trips → Menu → Ad Privacy.

The 3plan.app website may display advertisements through Google AdSense.

8. Permissions

The App may use:

• Internet access for AI, weather, place search, maps, advertisements and external links.
• The Android advertising ID permission, com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID, for AdMob.

The App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos or precise GPS location.

9. Cookies and External Websites

The mobile App itself does not use cookies to maintain user accounts or store travel plans. However, third-party websites opened from the App may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, availability or content of external websites.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App's data or uninstall the App. We do not retain backup copies on our servers.

Information processed by third-party providers is retained according to their own policies.

11. Data Loss and Backups

3plan.app does not provide developer-operated cloud backup or synchronization. If your device is lost, damaged, reset or replaced, or if you uninstall the App, your information may not be recoverable.

Device-level backups, if available, are controlled by your operating system or device provider and not by 3plan.app.

12. Security

We rely on your device's operating system to protect locally stored information. Communications with third-party services use encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

13. Children's Privacy

3plan.app is not directed to children under 13 years of age, or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App should be classified as not primarily child-directed in applicable store declarations.

14. Your Privacy Rights

Because we do not maintain your travel content on developer servers, you control that information directly through your device. You can access, edit or delete it in the App, clear the App's data or uninstall the App.

Requests concerning data processed by Google, Open-Meteo, Travelpayouts, OpenStreetMap or another provider should be directed to that provider.

15. Legal Basis for Processing in the EEA and UK

Where applicable, third-party processing may rely on:

• Your consent, including consent for personalized advertising where required.
• Performance of a service you request, such as AI, weather or place search.
• Legitimate interests in providing, securing and maintaining the App.

16. California Privacy Notice

We do not sell your personal information. 3plan.app does not maintain user accounts or store travel plans on developer servers. You can delete locally stored information directly through the App or your device.

17. Do Not Track

Because 3plan.app does not operate its own cross-service tracking system, the App does not respond differently to browser or device "Do Not Track" signals. Third-party providers may apply their own practices.

18. International Users

Third-party providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Their processing is governed by their own privacy terms and transfer mechanisms.

19. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date identifies the current version. Material changes may be announced in the App, on the website or in the App's store listing.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the 3plan.app mobile application ("3plan.app", "the App", "we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Please also review our Privacy Policy.

1. Description of the Service

3plan.app is a local-first travel planning application that may allow you to create trips, plan road trips, flights or camping travel, add destinations and stops, build checklists, keep a journal, organize calendar information, view weather, receive route-based place suggestions, chat with the "Camily" assistant, access maps and open third-party booking or shopping links.

The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum legal age required in your country to use the App. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

3. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, 3plan.app grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable license to install and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

No ownership rights are transferred to you.

4. No User Accounts and Local Storage

3plan.app does not require registration or user accounts. Your trips, routes, notes, checklists, journal entries, calendar events and preferences are stored locally on your device.

We do not operate cloud storage or synchronization for your travel content. We cannot access, recover, restore or transfer your locally stored information.

5. AI Features

Route-based place suggestions are generated without AI from third-party geographic data and trip-type rules. The "Camily" assistant is generated by a third-party artificial intelligence service. Suggestions and AI output are provided for informational purposes only and may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated.

AI output does not constitute legal, immigration, medical, financial, safety or professional travel advice.

You must independently verify visas, entry requirements, road conditions, weather, prices, opening hours, availability and safety information using official sources.

Do not submit sensitive personal information through AI features.

6. Weather, Maps, Place Data and Other Third-Party Information

Weather, place search, airport information, maps, prices and other travel information may be provided by third parties. This information is provided "as is" and may be unavailable, delayed, incorrect or incomplete.

Third-party services may change, limit or discontinue functionality without notice.

7. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Transactions

The App may contain affiliate links for hotels, flights, tours, transportation, insurance, eSIM services, shopping items and other travel-related products or services. We may earn a commission when you complete a transaction through an affiliate link, at no additional cost to you.

3plan.app is not a travel agency, airline, hotel, booking platform, insurer, payment processor or seller of third-party products.

All bookings, payments, cancellations, changes, refunds, delivery issues and customer service matters are exclusively between you and the third-party provider.

8. Advertising and Rewarded Benefits

The App displays third-party advertisements through Google AdMob, including banner, interstitial and rewarded video ads. By using the App, you acknowledge that advertisements may be shown.

Rewarded advertisements are voluntary and may provide temporary in-app benefits. Such rewards:

• Have no cash value.
• Are non-transferable.
• May change or be discontinued at any time.
• Are not guaranteed if an advertisement fails to load or complete.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law.
• Disrupt, overload, damage or interfere with the App or third-party services.
• Circumvent security controls, usage limits or affiliate tracking.
• Use AI features to create unlawful, harmful or infringing content.
• Introduce malware, malicious code or automated abuse.

10. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Complying with applicable laws and local regulations.
• Obtaining passports, visas, permits and required documentation.
• Confirming health, immigration, insurance and entry requirements.
• Following traffic, camping, safety and transportation rules.
• Verifying information before making travel or purchase decisions.

11. Intellectual Property

The App, software, name, logo, design, graphics, text and original content are owned by 3plan.app or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Content you create inside the App remains yours, subject to any rights required solely to process a feature you request.

12. Updates and Availability

We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. Some features may require you to install a newer version of the App.

Features that depend on third-party providers may become unavailable without prior notice.

13. Data Loss and Backup Disclaimer

Because travel information is stored locally, we do not maintain backup copies and cannot recover deleted, corrupted or lost information.

Uninstalling the App, clearing its data, resetting or replacing your device, device failure or loss of access to the device may permanently remove your content.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy or reliability.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that AI output, weather, prices, routes, maps or third-party information will be accurate.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 3plan.app will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.

This includes, without limitation:

• Loss of data, profits or travel arrangements.
• Missed flights, delays, cancellations or lost reservations.
• Route, map, weather or road-condition errors.
• AI-generated recommendations.
• Third-party booking, product or payment disputes.
• Device loss, failure or locally stored data loss.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless 3plan.app from claims, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses arising from your misuse of the App, violation of these Terms, violation of law or infringement of another person's rights.

17. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to features where reasonably necessary to protect the App, third-party services, users or legal rights, including in cases of abuse, fraud, unlawful activity or violation of these Terms.

18. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, third-party service interruptions, cloud or AI provider failures, natural disasters, cyberattacks, government actions, power failures or labor disputes.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country apply.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and 3plan.app regarding use of the App and supersede prior agreements concerning the same subject matter.

22. Changes to the App or These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date identifies the latest version. Continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
